    Is that really a crow? Ours are solid black in the US.

    A variant. Seems to be called Hooded crow; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hooded_crow – and then there is the American crow; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_crow . Thanks for pointing out.

    …we just call it “Crow” of course (“Kråka” in Swedish”).
