A scrapped paper bag on the pathway makes a good contrast to the gravel, and a light area of attention for a b/w picture. “Put some shit in the foreground” is a well-tried advice, here in Sweden at least, when composing for wide-angle lenses (in this case 24 mm in front of a full frame digital sensor).
